At Elm Rd. we want to do our part in helping you continue with your daily operations with the least interruptions. Our Covid 19 test team are ready to help you get your team back to work, while minimising the risk of community transmission in your workplace.
Elm Rd. can provide you with an onsite service to conduct workplace screening for COVID-19.
We start by assessing risk factors including body temperate, signs/symptoms, travel history and contact with persons known to be infected. We then take nose and throat swabs which are provided to our pathology partner for testing. The results of these tests are provided directly to staff within 24hrs by our lab partner in line with NSW Health Guidleines.
Finally, we provide an education pack to your employees or those tested to help them understand important infection control approaches to help mitigate your risk in the future.

How it works
1. Questionnaire
Each individual is required to fill out a confidential health declaration form and provide their Medicare details.
We will ask them questions about their current health status and any recent indirect or direct exposures to COVID-19. This information will not be shared with employers and will be treated in line with National Privacy Principles.
2. Temperature check
Temperature checks are completed prior to testing using non-contact infra-red temperature guns.
Employees identified with a fever will be isolated from colleagues and be referred to a Respiratory Clinic or Drive Through Covid Testing facility.
3. Symptom Screening
Employees will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and cold/flu.
Employees identified to be displaying signs and symptoms of cold and flu will be isolated from colleagues and be referred to a Respiratory Clinic or Drive Through Covid Testing facility.
4. Testing
Employees will be tested in accordance with NSW Health Guidelines by our accredited testing personnel.
The test involves a swab being taken from the nose and throat. It is mildly uncomfortable, but otherwise non - invasive.
5. Education
Employees will be provided with an education pack to help keep them and their colleagues safe.
The pack includes appropriate hygiene measures and behaviours that should be adopted in the workplace to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
6. Results
Each person tested will be notified directly by our pathology partner of their results via SMS.
Any person who tests positive will be provided with information on protocols to be followed by them in compliance with NSW Health Guidelines. This will include them contacting their employer.
